The Calgary Herald reported a million dollars goes to the companies for drilling dry holes while workers receive 1 week in 3 or 4 of employment. Slightly better than EI but, it doesn't show up in the EI stats which is what it is all about. Ottawa are going to re distribute bonus for working provinces. Money will move away from Ontario into Western Canada where Alberta is expected to pick up some large numbers and catch the golden ring. Make sure you have a job and know what its about before you move or you could be like the small army of hustlers on the streets looking for a handout for their next meal.
